FUTBIN Pack Scanner and EA Account Connection: Is It Officially Supported?
How FUTBIN's Pack Scanner and approved EA community-partner connection work, including what happens to EA credentials.
FUTBIN promotes an AI-powered Pack Scanner and also offers features that can use an EA Account connection. The important security question is whether that connection is recognized by EA.
EA's current partner list
EA Help currently lists FUTBIN, FUT.GG and FUTWIZ as its approved community partners for EA Account connections. That is a stronger status than an arbitrary third-party app asking for credentials.
Your EA password should stay with EA
EA explains that account authorization is completed through EA and that approved partners do not receive the user's EA password. The user grants permissions through the EA connection flow.
Read the permission screen
Approved does not mean you should click through without reading. Check what information or actions the connection requests and only authorize what you understand.
Pack Scanner
FUTBIN's own app page describes the Pack Scanner as AI-powered. Its purpose is to help recognize pack contents and connect that information with FUTBIN's player data and tools. Feature behavior can change with app versions.
How to revoke access
If you no longer want a connected community app to have access, use EA's account-management tools to review and revoke permissions rather than sharing credentials with a third party.
